Detroit rap-rocker Kid Rock rose to international fame in 1998 with his fourth album, Devil Without A Cause that won him a Detroit Music Award. He’s been rockin’ ever since, putting out his own stuff and collaborating with several other artists on their albums. Rock N Roll Jesus took home the award for Most Outstanding National Album at the 2008 Detroit Music Awards.

Kid Rock shows his support for our troops again! A new ad for the National Guard shot in Long Beach, CA features Kid Rock’s song, Warrior. Dale Earnhardt Jr., NASCAR superstar, was also on hand for the filming at Alamitos Military Base as well as the members of the National Guard. The ad is scheduled to run in theaters across the US in September and October.
In June, the Kid embarks on a European tour, followed by a couple of concerts in Canada, both on the west coast in Vancouver and Victoria, B.C. The fact that his album Rock n Roll Jesus has been certified platinum by the RIAA recently will surely mean even more ticket sales for Kid Rock concerts.
Meanwhile, Kid Rock isn’t shying away from comments about ex-wife, Pamela Anderson. The Kid has decided that one trip to hell is enough for one lifetime. Last month, he was quoted as saying that Anderson ruined him forever as far as wanting to ever get married again. Apparently the short lived marriage was one of the worst periods in Kid Rock’s life. Besides, right now Kid Rock is enjoying incredible success and fame and that is sure to keep him occupied for a while.
